Thomas Jefferson Letter to Little Turtle

Thomas Jefferson wrote this letter to Little Turtle on December 21, 1808. The letter is held in the Jefferson Paper Series at the Library of Congress. In the letter Jefferson tries to reaffirm his political friendship with Little Turtle while addressing disputes over land ownership. He assures Little Turtle that he will have the opportunity to defend his land rights through the presentation of evidence.
